Red Rooster

Red Rooster Winery is located on the scenic Naramata Bench Road in Penticton where breathtaking lake and mountain views surround the vineyard. The winery is a place where quality wines are developed and presented, where artists and musicians showcase their talents, and where people from around the world gather to appreciate all.

The original owners Beat and Prudence Mahrer came from Switzerland to purchase an orchard in 1990. Seeing the potential in the B.C. wine industry they converted the land to a vineyard, producing the first Red Rooster vintage in 1997. In 2004, due to overwhelming popularity, and lack of space, the winery was forced to relocate to its present location 10 minutes South. ( The previous winery is now Therapy Vineyards.)
